NYchair X Ottoman

NYchair X Ottoman

Designed by Takeshi Nii in the late 1950's this beautifully simple ottoman is perfect for any modern room with it's equally minimal and relaxed feel, yet high design. Takeshi Nii produced this ottoman in 1958 in Japan, soon after it won numerous awards and later became a permanent feature at MOMA in 1970.

This versatile ottoman can also be used as a stool and can be tucked away,  when folded, it measures only 6" making it easily transportable. The seat is made of Kurashiki canvas, a durable, finely-textured, woven cotton yarn that can be removed and replaced. The NY X Ottoman pairs perfectly with Takeshi Nii's Chair, which can be found here
